Jack Sock
At just 19, Jack Sock won the 2011 US Open mixed doubles title, teaming up with the Atlanta metro area's native Melanie Oudin that helped put his name amongst the rising stars of tennis.
In May of 2011 Sock graduated from Blue Valley North High School in Kansas with a remarkable 80-0 record and four state tennis championships. He is only the fourth player to win four straight state tennis titles in the 83-year history of Kansas high school tennis.
He qualified for the 2011 US Open based on his victory at the USTA Boys' 18s National Championship. He won his first Grand Slam match, defeating Marc Gicquel at the US Open.
Sock has receive a main draw singles wild card for the 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open.
