The Atlanta Tennis Championships, the ATP World Tour 250 event that will open the Olympus US Open Series and be played at the Racquet Club of the South July 18-24, announced today that Corona will be the official beer sponsor of the tournament. Corona will create a special "Corona Beach House" that will give tournament attendees a place to enjoy cold beverages between matches, cool down with misting stations, catch a player appearance and watch all of the tennis action on 47" flat screen televisions at the beach-themed area near the Racquet Club of the South pool.

Corona is also giving one lucky fan a chance to win a VIP package in the "Take Center Court with Corona" sweepstakes. A randomly selected winner will receive a VIP grand prize that includes: two box seats to the semifinals, lunch in the private player dining room, the chance to escort players onto the court, and perform the honorary coin flip. They will also experience a behind the scenes tour of the Racquet Club of the South. Sweepstakes entries are available at participating retailers or through online registration. Ten runner-up winners with receive a $50 gift card, good for Corona gear at store.corona.com. The sweepstakes are open to Georgia residents 21 years of age and older.

"Having Corona as a partner this year is a natural fit because we want to entertain our guests both on and off the court," said Bob Bryant, Atlanta Tennis Championships Tournament Director. "The Corona Beach House will offer fans a cool place to visit between matches and the ‘Take Center Court with Corona’ VIP sweepstakes gives fans an opportunity to experience tennis in a way they never have before."

More than 41,000 people attended last year’s inaugural Atlanta tournament to see American and World No. 10 Mardy Fish defeat the likes of fellow Americans Andy Roddick and John Isner en route to the title. Atlanta enjoys the distinction of having the largest organized playing tennis participation in the world, with 80,000 ALTA members and over 40,000 USTA members.

Weeklong ticket packages, which include tickets to all 11 sessions of the Atlanta Tennis Championships, are now on sale. Packages include Champion Courtside seats, which are the only packages that offer tickets located in the front row of the stadium. Along with their unparalleled proximity to the court, Champion Courtside seat holders gain exclusive access to the private indoor, air-conditioned Champion’s Club. Additionally, each ticket holder will receive a tournament program, along with recognition in the program. Individual session tickets will be available for Champion Courtside, Platinum and Gold seats, along with Reserved Stadium seats on June 1.
